SD77S
Adhesive/Spray Foam bonding
SD77S is a medium-high solid (55%), anionic, , aqueous dispersion of a sol chloroprene polymer which provides excellent quick bond strength along with a long open-time and excellent stability and quick break. It is used in 1-part or 2-part water based foam to foam for Spray Foam Bonding applications such as furniture, upholstery uses.It presents excellent colloidal stability and sprayability after aging. It is also used as a shoe Adhesive. It presents a very fast crystallization rate. pH decreases with time depending on temperature and air exposure. This decrease is indicative of structural changes in the polymer and alterations in the colloidal properties of the latex which are not readily measured. To keep changes to a minimum it is recommended that the material be stored low and temperatures between 5-40ºC, ideally between 13-21ºC with as little contact with air as possible.
