671A
Asphalt Modification/Dipped Goods/Adhesives
671A is a high solid content (59%), anionic, aqueous dispersion of a medium-slow chloroprene polymer used primarily for dipped goods and Asphalt Modification (Water Proof Coating) applications. It is also suitable for elastomer-based adhesives, fiber-bindings, coatings, etc.
Dipped goods - Medical Disposable Glove and Industrial Gloves ( High Gel, Medium-slow Crystallisation, High Sold content (59%). Features - High Modulus/Tensile strength (tough film for barrier/insulation). Note: We also have a newer version 672A which has better compound (colloidal) stability.
Asphalt Modification (Water proof coating) - Features Excellent Miscibility with anionic Asphalt emulsion/ Easy film deposition after spraying/ High Modulus/Tensile Strength (tough film for barrier/insulation) and Excellent Chemical Resistance.
It features easy film deposition, high modulus/tensile strength, medium hot creep, medium contactability. Storage stability is good. pH decreases with time depending on temperature and air exposure. This decrease is indicative of structural changes in the polymer and alterations in the colloidal properties of the latex which are not readily measured. To keep changes to a minimum it is recommended that the material be stored in low temperatures between 5-40ºC (ideally between 13-21ºC) with as little contact with air as possible.
