115
Water Based Contact Adhesive/Asphalt Modification(water proof coating & Paving)
115 is a medium solid content (47.5%) , non-ionic, aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of chloroprene and methacrylic acid stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol. This shows a broad tolerance to many materials that destabilizes anionic liquid dispersions. It is primarily used in high performance contact adhesives, coatings, sealants (mineral filler binder), water proofing (asphalt emulsion) etc.
Water Based Contact Adhesive - features excellent colloidal stability, hot bond/hot creep resistance and contactability. It has low corrosion and it is an easy crosslink with cross linkers. Slow Crystallisation / Medium Gel Content - Hot Bond & Creep resistance with Good Contractibility. Storage stability is good. pH decreases with time depending on temperature and air exposure. This decrease is indicative of structural changes in the polymer and alterations in the colloidal properties of the latex which are not readily measured. To keep changes to a minimum it is recommended that the material be stored low and temperatures between 10-40ºC, ideally between 13-21ºC with as little contact with air as possible.
Asphalt Modification (Water proof coating) - Non - Ionic with Medium Crystallisation, Medium Solid content (47.5%) - Neutral PH (7) , Carboxylated - Features Excellent colloidal stability - Mechanical / chemical and High-Low Temp Storage with Excellent Chemical Resistance. Paving - low swell against Rejuvenating agent well over SBR. Good Adhesion to aggregates with same level addition as SBR.
